On Sunday morning, December 7, 1941, the American Army and Navy base in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii was attacked by the Imperial Japanese Navy. Some organizations may hold special events in memory of those killed or injured in Pearl Harbor. Public transit systems run on their regular schedules.
